The adventure of Masakingu and Tanasatan @ Forest for Rest 2014

Pretty sure by now we have all seen the photos of Ma-chan pulling Reina around the Forest for rest ~Satoyama Satoumi e ikou 2014~ event from yesterday. But how many of us really know what happened from start to finish without being there? Here’s my interpretation of how it went down.

The entire Hello! Project attended the 2 day event. Of course Morning Musume ’14 was present.

LoVendoя and other Up-Front artists attended as guest for the weekend’s festivities as well, setting the stage for our story.

Many of the artists helped out at the numerous display and sales booths, attracting mobs of fans. LoVendoя appeared at the canned food goods table to help out.
(Attendees were allowed to take photographs in this special occasion, don’t try this at any other H!P/Up-Front event.)

Huh? Who’s that over there?

Reina knows. While the other band members are distracted, she sneaks off…

These aren’t the droids you’re looking for

Reina: “Masakingu, what are you doing here?“
Ma-chan: “Tanasatan, Tanasatan! Gotcha!“

Ma-chan: “Tanasatan, let’s run away when the others aren’t looking, hehehe“

Reina: “Marin is coming too okay?“
Ma-chan: “Okay, if you let her be my pokeman“
Reina: “Sure~“
Marin: “What?…“

Waiting for Okamari to do something dumb to draw away everyone’s attention…

Reina: “Hey Okamari! You can’t fish a processed fish out of a can!“

Reina: “Here’s our chance, before they notice we’re gone“

Reina: “RUN, HAHAHAHAHA~“

Ma-chan: “Why are we running through the crowd?“

Sneaking away~

Reina: “You didn’t see no nothing“
Ma-chan: “Tanasatan, WALL!!!“
Marin: “Please excuse us“

Reina: “Let’s see what else they are selling here“
*Manager-san is trailing just in case.

Ma-chan: “Look! They’re even selling Sayubee and D-O do official lesbian photos!“
Reina: “It’s not my fault lol“

Ma-chan: “Look! a food stall!“

Ma-chan, “Tanasatan, I’m hungry, buy me popcorn“
Reina, “Alright, pick a good one“

Ma-chan: “I like this one“

Sales lady: “Actually, these are cat food“

Reina: “Ma-chan, meow meow meow“
Marin: “I’ll buy some for my cats at home“

Reina: “I’ll buy some for my cats back home too“

The girls are starting to get irritated by all the people following them.

Reina: “Hey, why don’t you stop following us and go pound sand with Sayashi!“

Meanwhile at the other end of the event hall…

RihoRiho: “Wada-san, this is so much fun!“
Ayacho: “Yasshi, I don’t think you understand what pound sand actually means…“

Staff, “Oh there you are, everyone is looking for you, they want you two to help sell chocolate chip cookies“

Reina: “Ma-chan, we have to get back to work“

Ma-chan: “Did you say cookies?“

Ma-chan: “Chocolate chip cookies!!!! I’m gonna eat it all nomnomnom“
Reina: “Ma-chan shhhh, the staff will hear you, I’ll buy you some after okay?“

“Who wants cookies!!!“

Ma-chan: “Hehehe suckers“
Reina: “Marin, there you are, come help us sell these cookies“
Marin: “I think I’m getting a headache, this girl is too much for me“

Ma-chan: “Free cat food with each purchase!“
Marin: “Wat.“

Reina: “Don’t worry Marin, we can give away my bag, I forgot my cats are back in Fukuoka anyway“
Marin: “What a relieve“
Ma-chan: “Who wants cat food!“

Ma-chan: “Let’s step in front of the booth to show off our silky smooth legs, Ayumin said that’s how you attract dirty old wotas.“

Reina: “You all better buy some cookies after taking so many pictures of us!“

Ma-chan: “Miyazawa-san, I choose you!“
Marin: “Okay?“
Reina: “Oh right, I almost forgot, Marin is now Ma-chan’s Pokemon“

Ma-chan: “Miyazawa-san, use become a table NOW!“
Marin: “It’s super effective“

After selling out all the cookies and cat food, the girls retreat back to the dressing room.

Nee-san: “Hey, what’s Ma-chan doing here? Isn’t the Morning Musume dressing room down at the other end?“

Ma-chan: “Okamari-san, you’re a Chocobo right? Carry me!“
Okamari: “Omg, this girl is heavier than I thought“

Nee-san: “Ma-chan, I’ll give you this gum if you’ll get off me, deal?“
Ma-chan: “hehehahehaehe, your lotion smells like honey doo-doo“

Ma-chan: “What’s that, Tanasatan? I’ll be right over after I try this drink“
Nee-san: “@#$@%# My face!“

Ma-chan: *Cough cough cough* “This taste nothing like Harunan!“

Okamari: “Why am I doing the clean up?“

Ma-chan: “My Tanasatan!“
Reina: “Ma-chan don’t move, I’m losing my balance“
Okamari: “Successful photobombing is sucessful“
